Robin Cantor-Cooke: Professional Writer, Author
For the last twenty years Robin Cantor-Cooke has worked as a writer, editor, audio scriptwriter, and producer of more than forty books and tape programs. She is coauthor of Satisfaction: Women, Sex, and the Quest for Intimacy (with Anita Clayton, M.D.), Thriving with Heart Disease (with Wayne Sotile, Ph.D.), and ghostwriter of a New York Times number one bestseller. She is currently collaborating with Jerilyn Ross on a book about women and anxiety
Robin is also an adjunct instructor at the College of William & Mary, where she teaches a public speaking workshop she created, "Presenting Yourself With Confidence and Control."
A native of New York City, Robin began her career as a stage actor in Manhattan and Los Angeles and has worked with some of the biggest stars in show business, including Charlton Heston, Helen Hayes, George Burns, Keith Carradine, Marlo Thomas, Mariette Hartley, Sid Caesar, Milton Berle, Jan Murray, and Red Buttons. She is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Queens College and holds a master's degree from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. She lives with her husband and two sons in Williamsburg, Virginia.
